About the event
People Helping People's school holiday science event, Science Madness is back! This year the theme is Space Cowboys and Robots. There will be programming and robotics activities on offer.
Come along and make your very own cardboard robot, learn the basics of programming with Botzees, explore green energy sources with a solar powered dinosaur and a salt water engine car, and take a look under the microscope at some strawberry DNA. There will be more than enough to do in 3 hours! Complete one worksheet from each station for your chance to win one of three STEM toys.
Are you thinking about a career in programming or data science? Come talk to Dr Paul Hancock, computer science lecturer and data scientist at Curtin University.
This is a FREE event. The centre is easily accessible with a wheelchair. We welcome all people, no matter what your ability is.
